Ottawa Office

The Ottawa Office assists in maintaining and enhancing the presence of the GNWT in Ottawa with federal Ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators, political staff, public servants and the public at large.

The Senior Envoy to the Government of Canada serves as a dedicated representative of the Government of the Northwest Territories in Ottawa. This role is designed to strengthen relationships with federal partners, raise the profile of the Northwest Territories within the federal landscape, and capitalize on the renewed national interest in Canada’s North.
